Description
Essential Job Functions
- Demonstrates SoundOff Signal’s Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers.
- Regularly perform inspections of product.
- Willing and able to train others in all department processes.
- Lead and willingness to assume the responsibility for tasks as assigned.
- Strong leadership and team building skills and be able to temporarily fill a Line or Team lead position in their absence.
- May share accountability for scheduling incoming work assignments.
- Small assembly with hand operated and semi-automated equipment.
- Assemble, label, and package various products.
- Complete all tasks with a high level of quality and accuracy.
- Identifies and/or prints needed labels and instruction sheets for products based on job order as required.
- Packaging of lights and related product.
- Product testing and packaging.
- Ability to work accurately with small parts.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to accurately use a computer for basic reporting.
- Able to consistently meet quality and efficiency standards.
- Have a thorough understanding of all SoundOff Signal policies, procedures, and systems
- Proven ability to work with and follow directions from the Line/Team Lead and willingness to assume the responsibility for tasks as assigned.
- Experience with more complex builds, processes and modules.
- Ability to trouble shoot build issues.
- Must have a proven ability to consistently meet quality and efficiency standards, and be able to build, check and inspect all product.
- Must be able to read and follow, correct and improve SoundOff Signal work instructions
- Ability to cross-train others within the department in all processes and builds.
- Able to read and follow SoundOff Signal Work Instructions.
- Able to perform job consistently without excessive absenteeism or tardiness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 3-5 years of related experience, or equivalent education in related study.
- Basic manufacturing skills preferred.
- Excellent dexterity and fine motor skills to work with small parts.
- Maintains quick pace with quality focus in all activities.
- Willingness to learn more advanced computer skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Able to independently follow verbal and written instructions efficiently.
- Mechanical aptitude to operate department equipment.
- Able to work occasional overtime based on business needs.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, rotate, and/or reach throughout an entire shift.
- Must be able to accurately handle and assemble small parts.
Working Conditions
- Light manufacturing environment
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Low noise level in a temperature-controlled setting
- Required to work shift hours (four 10-hour days days) with occasional overtime
