About the Role
The Innovation Hub Robotics & Technology Teacher will inspire and empower students in grades K–5 through hands-on, future-ready learning experiences in our dedicated Innovation Hub. This role is ideal for an educator passionate about STEAM, design thinking, and cultivating digital literacy in a 1:1 iPad environment.
Curriculum & Tools
• Robotics Platforms: VEX GO, VEX 123, VEX IQ
• EdTech Tools: Sphero, drones, coding apps (block- and text-based)
• Technology Skills: Keyboarding, digital citizenship, basic AI concepts, app-based creation
• Learning Frameworks: Design Thinking, Project-Based Learning, STEAM integration

You will also…
• Design and implement engaging robotics and technology lessons aligned with school-wide innovation goals
• Teach foundational through advanced coding and robotics using VEX and Sphero platforms
• Promote digital citizenship and age-appropriate technology use
• Guide students through problem-solving, engineering, and collaborative design challenges
Organize and maintain Innovation Hub materials and technology tools
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to create cross-curricular learning opportunities
• Lead or support enrichment programs such as Robotics Club, AI/STEM exploration days, or Maker events
• Stay current with trends in educational technology and innovation

What We Are Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience teaching STEM, robotics, or technology in an elementary school setting preferred
• Proficiency with platforms such as VEX Robotics, Sphero, iPads, drones, and introductory AI tools preferred
• Knowledge of coding tools such as Scratch Jr, Swift Playgrounds, and Kodable
• Strong classroom management and a passion for inspiring curiosity and confidence in young learners
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
