Regional Sales Manager, Pharmacy - Western Region, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. What you'll be doing:
As a global leader in injectables, anesthesia and drug compounding, Baxter is further accelerating our impact with a robust innovation pipeline across our key therapeutic areas, including critical care, anti-infectives, pain and oncology. Our Pharmaceuticals teams are relentlessly focused on bringing differentiated products to market that support our customers in helping to address vital patient needs.
- Planning, directing and controlling the sales and business activities for the Western region through the translation of strategic plans into sales strategies to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives.
- Defining an overall strategy to drive sales growth in region.
- Supporting the Pharmacy Sales Specialists with prospective customers, delivering effective sales presentations, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quoting appropriate customer prices to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction..
- Interact effectively with C-suite and decision makers with both internal and external partner and build key relationships that support local teams’ efforts.
- Driving the implementation of team strategies to ensure the completion of regionally focused objectives.
- Preparing annual regional forecasts and participating in the determination of market potential and in preparation of sales expense estimates for the region.
- Planning and managing the sales & development efforts of the region including, contract compliance, staffing, training, performance management, coaching plans, administrative requirements.
- Conferring with immediate superior and marketing personnel in the development of marketing policy, recommending product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes.
- Partnering with sales support, the IDN team, marketing and R&D in activities such as sales promotion, training or market research in planning and completing special projects.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required with 7+ years of healthcare sales experience, pharmacy industry and/or hospital sales experience required.
- 3+ years of successfully leading sales teams.
- Proven ability to effectively interact and build strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients.
- Proven track record to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies with good time management.
- Strong use of Excel, Tableau preferred.
- Ability to understand and adapt to customer changing needs.
- Showcased proficiency in comprehending business operations and sales methodologies, in addition to adept decision-making skills.
- At least 50% travel by ground or air is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel.
