This position supports the operations of a Fleet Maintenance shop by coordinating vehicle maintenance, procurement, and logistics. Key responsibilities include scheduling and tracking vehicle repairs, managing registrations and renewals, updating vehicle statuses in software systems, and liaising with vendors and contractors. The role also involves occasional local vehicle shuttling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports Fleet Maintenance shop operations.
• Procurement of parts and supplies for vehicle repairs
• Participates in vehicle registration and renewals
• Tracks and schedules vehicles for maintenance and repairs
• Updates vehicle status using various software platforms.
• Communicates with vendors for vehicle repairs
• Schedules contractors for vehicle transfers
• Shuttle vehicles locally, as required

Physical Demands: 

• The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. 
• Noise level in the work environment can be loud. 
• This position may require sitting for prolonged periods of time while utilizing a computer. 
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items over 25 pounds.

Qualifications:

• Must possess and maintain a driver’s license and good driving record.
• Proficient with computers utilizing MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to gain proficiency in Fleet Maintenance software
• Organized individual with ability to multi task
• Self-confidence, emotional stability, good judgment, and tolerance for high stress  
• Possess good verbal communication skills .
