As part of our Maintenance organization, you will support our Engineering Plastics Compounding plant (EPC)

During your straight day shift as a Maintenance Technician III, you will

• Install, maintain and repair equipment such as pumps, blowers, gearboxes, extruders, convey systems and Piping
   
• Improve equipment reliability by maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting and utilizing all resources available. Findings reported to supervision with appropriate recommendations.
   
• Support and improve Preventive Maintenance and Mechanical Integrity Programs to insure equipment reliability.
   
• Actively participate in plant safety meetings, and work within BASF site and corporate procedures.

 

• Support all EHS policies and procedures while promoting a safe working environment.

 

• Track and update assigned tasks in our maintenance management system (SAP).
   
• Maintain good attendance history.
   
• Provide rotating on-call support for after-hours production demands to include working overtime and weekends when needed.

If you...

 

• Possess a High School Diploma or GED. (Associate Degree in a Mechanical Program would be preferred). 
• Have 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. 
• Have 5 year of experience performance maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, rotors, gearboxes. 
• Are experienced with MS Office and SAP Plant Maintenance or are willing to learn both.
• Have 5 years of experience working in a compounding environment, this would be an asset.
