The Master Data Management Analyst will be responsible for building the framework and working with the business units to instill strong Data Management and Data Governance discipline within PetIQ. This individual will be working closely in coordination with the Business Data Steward and Data User teams to meet their needs. This position will provide support to various business teams to move PETIQ into an effective Data Literate Organization. This role is part of the Information Technology team at PetIQ, partnering and collaborating across diverse internal business and IT functions.
What you will do:Design and develop a framework for Master Data Standardization and Governance for the key Master Data elements of Who, What, When, and Where and help the business develop Standard Definitions. Work with key stakeholders across the organization to plan and host structured meetings with Data Steward teams for Data Definition, Production and Usage Stewards.
Keep up to date information that is shared across the organization for Data Dictionaries and communicate across the IT team and All Pet IQ Departments.
Maintain technical documentation and ensure that knowledge is shared with other members of the team.
Work collaboratively with the business teams to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications
- 1 – 5 years experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Demonstrated experience with business data and how data is tied to applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Passion for Data
- Willingness to learn new information and explain information to business users
- Must be a self-starter
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
- Limited travel (less than 25%) required
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet unexpected and tight deadlines, and work well under pressure – all while having fun and maintaining a positive attitude
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Technical or related field
