Westcliff University seeks a Military Outreach Advisor to develop partnerships with military and veteran communities, colleges, and nonprofits to drive enrollment. The advisor will execute outreach activities locally and nationally, deliver presentations, manage recruitment leads, and collaborate internally to support military-affiliated student enrollment.




Learning Experience Design Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist



Job Summary


The Learning Experience Design Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist plays a critical role

in ensuring that all courses meet Westcliff University’s academic, technological, and

compliance standards prior to launch. This role manages the QA process and tasks,

such as reviewing courses for accuracy, consistency, and functionality to maintain the

university’s commitment to high-quality learning experiences. Serving as the final

checkpoint in the curriculum development process, the QA Specialist

collaborates with course developers and stakeholders and coordinates the final handoff

to the Instructional Technology team.



Essential Duties



? Conduct comprehensive course reviews to ensure alignment with academic,

technological, and compliance standards, addressing accuracy, accessibility, and

overall readiness prior to launch.

? Manage and enforce the Quality Assurance process by auditing courses across

multiple service levels, identifying misalignments, and coaching course development

teams on QA expectations and best practices.

? Coordinate final course handoff to Instructional Technology by documenting Quality

Assurance completion, verifying assessment tools and rubrics, and ensuring a

smooth transition into the learning management system.

? Support ongoing course maintenance and issue resolution by responding to service-

level tickets, collaborating with institutional partners on course updates, and

assisting the Learning Experience Design Team with course builds as needed.

? Promote quality and consistency across curriculum development by serving as a

subject-matter resource for Quality Assurance standards, compliance requirements,

and continuous improvement of course design processes.

? Support to the Learning Experience Design Team during development cycles,

designing in the Learning Management System (LMS), and with implementation

standards for Edtech tools.

? Stay abreast of instructional design, learning sciences, and educational technology

trends.

? Perform other assigned tasks as required.

Qualifications

? Experience in instructional design, course development, or academic quality

assurance.

? Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies in content,

design, and compliance.

? Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle) and tools such as Turnitin.

? Knowledge of accessibility, copyright compliance, and academic technology

standards.

? Familiar with current and emerging instructional pedagogies, adult learning

theories, learning outcome assessment, project management strategies, game-

based learning, and learning sciences.

? Strong collaboration, written, and verbal communication skills.

? Basic planning skills, vision, and creative intelligence.

? A passion for education.
