Summary

We are looking for a “Senior Industrial Engineer (f/m/d)” for the “Supply Chain Management” department at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.

The “Supply Chain Management” department bundles elementary cross-sectional tasks and core capabilities of the “Operations” division of HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH. As a job holder and member of the “Production Excellence” team, you will make a significant and valuable contribution to the quality of our products and support the entire HENSOLDT Optronics with the design of efficient and high-performance processes.

Your Tasks

• Coordination of production-related development tasks as a central interface between development, production and the supply chain

• Ensuring a product design that is suitable for production and maintenance (manufacturability, standardization, D-FMEAs)

• Preparation for series production, series start-up planning and transfer of products to series production (optimization of existing products)

• Optimization of existing products in close cooperation with development to continuously increase quality and stability

• Monitoring the status quo of machines and production facilities and their outcome

• Documenting tests in production and carrying out investigations to improve the functionality and reliability of products

• Supporting the identification and elimination of production problems using suitable methods for root cause analysis such as PPS, SPC and the introduction of new machines (if required)

• Consideration of the degree of automation within production

• Definition, development, testing, qualification, release and introduction of new technologies and manufacturing processes in production

• Organization and implementation of training courses and knowledge transfer in the area

Your Profile

• Completed engineering degree (optoelectronics, mechatronics) or comparable

• Many years of professional experience in process development and / or optimization using common methods such as Six Sigma, FMEA, Lean Management, TQM

• Practical experience in assembly / a manufacturing area, ideally with a focus on optics or optoelectronics advantageous

• Knowledge of new digital technologies and methodical knowledge in the field of data analysis

• IT knowledge of CAD and ERP systems as well as MS Office

• Basic knowledge of software development, programming languages and maintaining software quality

• Technical expertise and understanding of industrial processes

• Basic knowledge of business administration and experience with cost accounting, as well as experience in project management round off your profile

• Commitment, a strong team orientation and communication skills as well as a structured and goal-oriented approach and assertiveness

• Fluent German and good English skills
