About Lemmen-Holton Cancer Center
We treat cancer using the latest technologies and treatments including gene sequencing of tumors, targeted therapy and advanced oncology surgery techniques. We use a team approach to care, bringing together different areas of expertise that specialize in any type of cancer.
This RN Supervisor Outpatient will support two units at Lemmen-Holton Cancer Center.
Outpatient Oncology Infusion
The Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion Outpatient Infusion unit provides a broad range of outpatient oncology services, including: blood and platelet administration, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, cellular therapies, supportive hydration, antiemetics, and therapeutic phlebotomies. It is our mission to ensure cutting edge therapies and excellent supportive services are available to all cancer patients in the Grand Rapids area. Our staff serves as a critical link between our patients and their physician. We provide a healing environment to all and follow the relationship-based care practice model. This means our nurses, technicians, and patient services teams are there for our patient population.
Corewell Health West Medical Oncology
The Medical Oncology Team at Corewell Health West offers a team of oncology specialists serving patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses. Sub-specialties include but are not limited to Breast, Melanoma, Head and Neck, Lung, Genitourinary, Neuro-oncology, Sarcoma, Colorectal and other gastrointestinal cancers. Our growing team of providers offers a wealth of experience and a growing number of clinical trials to patients across West Michigan, from Ludington to Hastings. Our nursing coordinator team and support team work to provide a seamless care experience as our patients navigate their cancer journey from diagnosis into survivorship.
Scope of work
Directs the activities of clinical staff within assigned area and ensures the delivery of efficient, smooth patient flow and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) Required.
- Two years of recent relevant clinical experience Required.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
