Sr. Manager, Project Management and Scrum Master

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Manager, Project Management and Scrum Master to work closely with stakeholders, both business and software engineering, and coach and guide the Scrum Master team to enable meeting the goals of the organization.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
- Organize sprints, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings
- Assist with coordinating user story grooming, sprint planning and review, and software demos
- Help remove impediments
- Measure project performance and assist with project risk management
- Report project status, risks, and escalations
- Work with product owners to help manage backlogs and new project requests
- Guide and mentor the scrum team to achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of combined Scrum Master and People Leadership experience
- Solid technical background, with familiarity or experience in software development, cloud and web technologies
- Experience working with geographically dispersed software development teams
- Ability to work in a fast paced, agile development environment
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, MES, or LIMS systems
- Familiarity with Business Applications such as Salesforce.com and SAP
- Solid communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Scrum Master certification
- PMP certification is a plus
The base cash compensation for this California-based role is below. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for bonus, equity, and a generous benefits package. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate skill, experience, expertise, and location and may vary from the amount listed above. Compensation may be different in other locations.San Francisco Bay Area Pay Range$183,351—$215,196 USD
