Ya Hala and World Foods are looking for a dependable, hands-on Multi-Site Facilities & Maintenance Specialist to help keep our stores, restaurants, offices, and properties safe, clean, functional, and welcoming.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical problem-solving, takes pride in well-maintained spaces, and can work independently across multiple locations.

What You’ll Do

Perform preventive maintenance, light repairs, and equipment troubleshooting.


Maintain building components, fixtures, equipment, and exterior areas.


Respond to urgent facility needs and help prevent small issues from becoming larger problems.


Complete light carpentry, hardware installation, painting, caulking, drywall patching, and related repairs.


Perform deep cleaning and help maintain sanitary grocery, restaurant, storage, and back-of-house areas.


Document maintenance activities, work orders, repairs, photos, and follow-up needs.


Support store projects, remodels, equipment installations, moves, and seasonal setups.


Coordinate with contractors and vendors when specialized or licensed work is required.


Travel between company locations and provide reliable follow-through from request to completion.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

General maintenance, facilities, building, restaurant, grocery, or related experience.


A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.


Good judgment, strong follow-through, and the ability to work independently.


Familiarity with common tools and practical repairs.


Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, or commercial buildings is helpful.


The ability to communicate professionally with store teams, vendors, contractors, and leadership.


A commitment to working safely and following company, food-safety, and chemical-handling procedures.

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular travel between company locations and the ability to:

Lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.


Climb ladders and work safely at elevated locations.


Work outdoors and in hot, cold, wet, noisy, or dusty environments.


Stand and walk for extended periods.


Bend, reach, kneel, crouch, and work in confined areas.

Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities support, building maintenance, restaurant maintenance, grocery maintenance, or a related field.


Ability to troubleshoot and complete practical repairs safely.


Working knowledge of common tools, hardware, plumbing fixtures, lighting, building components, and maintenance procedures.


Ability to recognize when work requires a licensed contractor or specialized service provider.


Experience with preventive-maintenance schedules, work orders, vendor coordination, or basic maintenance records preferred.


Ability to work independently, prioritize urgent requests, and follow through across multiple locations.


Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.


Ability to travel regularly between company locations and transport tools, parts, and supplies.


Ability to use email, mobile devices, digital work-order systems, and basic documentation tools.


Ability to follow food-safety, cleaning, chemical-handling, workplace-safety, and company procedures.


Ability to work respectfully and professionally around employees, customers, vendors, contractors, tenants, and members of the public.


Ability to lift, carry, hold, and deliver items weighing up to 40 pounds.


Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, reach, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work in confined areas.
