Scope of Position
Interact with co-workers, physicians, and nurse practitioners to ensure the appropriate delivery of medical services to patients.
Position Summary
To render licensed nursing care to patients within the office. Assist the physician/nurse practitioner and other clinical and clerical office staff where indicated or needed to ensure the patient services are delivered in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Provide clinical orientation for all new PCN clinical staff members and MA externs. Educate clinical standards and policy and procedure.
Minimum Education Required
2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in nursing
Required Qualifications
LPN with current Ohio licensure, and current American Heart Association BCLS certification required. At least 2 years experience in a physician office or other primary health care setting preferred. Successful demonstration of clinical skill competency at the annual Ambulatory Skills Orientation and Review.
