Salesforce Inc.  seeks Data Scientist in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Use Python to model different marketing scenarios and impact attribution, use SQL to model different scenarios and to build Salesforce marketing dashboards (on Tableau), while writing Python scripts to ingest information from the marketing Snowflake data warehouse and fetch data from different data sources (internal and external). Use various proprietary Salesforce tools depending on the team supported, including Tableau, Salesforce Einstein Analytics or Analytics Studio with CRMA to provide data and data visualizations in order to make the stakeholders self-sufficient and enable them to make data-driven decisions, while building live dashboards to measure the difference between legacy marketing metrics and new marketing metrics models built and driven on Al and highlighting the value of new models compared to old models by focusing on better data visualization.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to get buy-in from everyone on data-backed decisions. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: 1.) Advanced statistical analytics techniques, developing impact metrics/KPIs, insights, and reporting to drive prioritization and measure impact; 2.) ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) tools, SQL and related platforms to drive analysis and insights behind the data; 3.) Transforming and assimilating disparate data, developing models, and maintaining code; 4.) Communicating technical analysis to non-technical partners including senior executives; 5.) Developing high impact data visualization using data viz tools.  Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $157,600.00 - $236,500.00 per annum.
