Position: Staff Software Engineer
Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Duties: Develop highly scalable services and solve complex software systems problems. Participate in the technical architecture across multiple scrum teams to ensure compliance to the target architecture. Work with the teams to ensure there is no deviation from the architecture vision. Provide technical direction, and architecture expertise to the team. Participate in the discovery phase of complex cross functional projects to come up with creative solutions to highly complex problems, work on high level design covering cross functional systems. Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with applications design and development guidelines and standards. Provide tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk. Work closely with engineering managers, tech leads, software engineers, product managers and business teams to architect technology solutions to meet the business and technology vision. Troubleshoot open issues and bug-fixes, ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs. Collaborate with product on technical feasibility and implementation strategies. Provide support to the business by responding to users’ questions, concerns, and issues.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 3 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 6 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.
Skills required: Experience designing and Implementing the REST API and Web Service using Java, Spring Boot, C#, and Graph QL. Experience with Web Application Development for UI framework using ReactJS, NodeJS, JavaScript, CSS, and Redux. Experience building the software solution and application using SQL Server, Oracle, PLSQL, and SQL Trigger. Experience designing and implementing event based and stream-processing platforms using MSMQ and Kafka. Experience building and hosting cloud applications using AWS and Azure. Experience building the application health monitoring using Dynatrace. Experience in maintaining the Source code using GitHub, Bitbucket and VSS. Experience working in Agile methodologies using Jira, Issue Tracker and Confluence. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $194,792/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
