Job Description

Summit Health is seeking Behavioral Health Therapists, interested in High Level Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Training, to join the New Jersey team!

Requirements: PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LPC (Must already be Licensed in the state of New Jersey)

Caseload experience: Adult

Status: Full Time - Benefit Eligible

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

*1 of the 2 days onsite, will be an evening shift, 12pm - 8pm

At Summit Health’s Behavioral Health & Cognitive Therapy Center we employ high level Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to treat a wide variety of patient conditions including depression, anxiety, panic, OCD, health anxiety and more.  We offer intensive clinical supervision and education to help our clinicians become certified in CBT within their first year. We provide both virtual and in-person treatment with a flexible work schedule that includes working from both home and the office.

Candidates must have knowledge of evidence-based treatments for common mental disorders, familiarity with brief, structured intervention techniques (e.g. Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation) and a desire to become skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Experience working with patients who have co-occurring mental health and physical health problems preferred.   Knowledge of community resources required.

Education Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree.

• New Jersey State Licensure in Social Work, Professional Counseling or Psychology required (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LCSW-R, LPC).

• 3-years experience working within an outpatient setting working with child/adolescents or adult 18yrs of age and older.

• Familiarity working within a medical setting.

Pay Range: $65,770.00 - $82,202.00
