Senior Sales Finance FP&A Analyst

<ul> <li>Department: ESI Sales Finance</li> <li>Location: Barcelona</li> <li>Reports to: ESI VP FP&amp;A (site manager) and ESI Sales Finance FP&amp;A Director (functionally)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Job Purpose:</p> <p>Provide analytical and reporting support to the Central Europe (DE; NL; PL) Sales Controller, Sales team and DVP and other FP&amp;A/Finance areas to deliver top quality analysis, reports and projections that help improve sales performance through growth and efficiency and ensure alignment with BU performance.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p><strong><u>Business partnering</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee all finance aspects of the Sales business environment including current and future performance, identification and management of opportunities and risks</li> <li>Provide financial and business insight to Central Europe (DE; NL; PL) stakeholders to drive decision making through both the formal planning cycles and proactive financial analysis to optimise Sales performance</li> <li>Support the DVPs to devise and execute strategy across the BU to drive growth and achieve business objectives, including developing appropriate staffing levels, programmes and incentives to achieve business objectives</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>Strategic Planning, Operating Plan and Forecasting</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Take full ownership of, and drive business insights for Central Europe (DE; NL; PL) stakeholders through regular planning and reporting cycles such as:</li> <li>QBRs</li> <li>Operating Plan</li> <li>Forecasting / Pipeline analysis</li> <li>Monthly actuals analysis and reporting</li> <li>Proactive Business analysis</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>Business control, management reporting and close</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Delivery of Monthly Reporting and Management packs with insight and actionable items</li> <li>Ensure accurate and timely preparation of commissions</li> <li>Take ownership for BU data accuracy including Roll Call, Commissions and NSE</li> <li>Work with Sales Operations and DVPs to provide local guidance on, and ensure adherence to Sales Policy</li> <li>Participate in and lead projects that support development of the ESI Sales finance function</li> <li>Proactively participate in initiatives that further Standardisation and Improvement agendas in the CoE environment.</li> <li>Provide finance leadership and input towards tool adoption to further automate finance processes and reporting such as Oracle Incentive Commissions / Oracle CPQ / Order To Cash / Sales database</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Matrix environment, leveraging CoE</p> <p> </p> <p>SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:</p> <ul> <li>Microsoft Office skills essential; advanced level in Excel</li> <li>Experience working with databases</li> <li>Analytical mind</li> <li>Oracle, Hyperion Enterprise and Hyperion Planning experience preferred</li> <li>Language skills – Professional working Proficiency in English plus one of the following languages preferable (Dutch or German). </li> <li>Strong communication skills</li> <li>Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively</li> <li>Must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:</li> <li>Communication and influencing</li> <li>Innovation and problem solving</li> <li>Financial and commercial awareness</li> <li>Teamwork and co-operation</li> <li>Results orientation</li> <li>Flexibility and organisational commitment</li> <li>Service orientation</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Qualified accountant or equivalent preferred</li> <li>Degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent preferred (MBA, Master in Finance or alike is a plus)</li> <li>3/4 years Financial Planning and/or Sales Control experience combined with business partnering required</li> <li>Professional Working Proficiency in English plus one the following three language required (German, Dutch, Polish)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>OTHER:</p> <p>Limited travel required (&lt;10%)</p> <p> </p> <p><span>#LI-FD1</span></p> <p><span>#LI-Hybrid</span></p> <p> </p>
