The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a(n) Customer Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Scheduling the delivery of rental units for patients’ home therapy within required timelines following order release.
- Coordinating the timely return of Solventum rental units from patients after discharge so devices can be available to support the next patient in need.
- Interacting with patients, home health agencies, and doctors’ offices via inbound and outbound calls, texts, and written correspondence/email to secure information needed for delivery and return of equipment.
- Reviewing order notes, documents on file, prior orders, and other available resources to determine appropriate next steps for each order on the assigned worklist.
- Participating in all reasonable work activities as assigned and deemed appropriate by management, including occasional overtime, to support business and patient needs.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND Two (2) years of customer service experience
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- One (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Ability to multitask and toggle between 4–5 different systems (such as dual-screen environments)
- Strong typing and data entry skills
- Experience working with a dialer or in a phone-based customer service environment
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, conveying a positive, customer-focused and team-oriented attitude
- Consistent adherence to work schedule commitments, ability to work with minimal supervision, and flexibility to support schedule adjustments based on call volumes or staffing needs
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all business dealings
Work location:
Hybrid (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to a local Solventum office location at least 4 days per week each month)
Reliable transportation to and from the work location is required.
