The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Acute Patient Care Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Driving sales growth through collaborative efforts with other Solventum Medical Surgical Division personnel including Clinical Specialists, Technical Consultants, Surgical Solutions, Sterilization/Monitoring representatives, Key Account Managers, Marketing Communicating clinical and business solutions to ICU, Infection Prevention, Vascular Access teams, Nurse leadership, and educators, Materials Management/Supply Chain, Value Analysis and other relevant key call points in acute care hospitals
- Presenting and reinforcing Solventum value proposition to differentiate Solventum from competitive offerings.
- Managing the sales territory by setting a territory plan to efficiently drive strategic goals (sales quotas), which includes calling on assigned acute care hospitals.
- Using training and in-servicing sessions to improve wound care and vascular access product knowledge in the Hospital.
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND (4) years of combined experience in medical devices and/or healthcare in a private, public, government or military environment
OR
- High School Diploma/GED from AND (8) years of combined experience in medical devices and/or healthcare sales in a private, public, government or military environment
AND
Current, valid Driver’s License.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master’s degree in business or healthcare administration from an accredited institution.
- Medical device and /or pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Clinical wound care and/or patient facing care experience.
- Completion of a formal sales training program.
- Experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Work location:
- Remote in New Orleans, LA sales territory
Travel: May include up to 50%
