Summary/Objective:
The Senior Applications Engineer will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our valued clients. In this role, you will craft and recommend technical solutions to a varied industrial customer base, support outside sales, and generate complex proposals.
Essential Functions:
• Maintain and cultivate positive customer relationships
• Develop and recommend value added process equipment solutions for customer applications which increase their operational efficiencies, improve their operational safety, and reduce their environmental impact.
• Prepare technical proposals with sales team.
• Process orders, via order entry system, and manage complex projects.
• Follow-up and expedite critical projects and orders.
• Resolve any order problems related to delivery or paperwork issues directly with, sales team, customer and suppliers.
• Handle all inquiries/contacts in a professional manner.
• Work in concert with our outside sales team; funnel leads/opportunities to the sales team
• Resolve product issues or determine product solutions over the phone or via e-mail

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and/or instrument aptitude

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift up to 15 lbs., open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday; 8 am to 5 pm.
Preferred Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred
• Experience in customer service a plus
• Excellent opportunity for recent engineering graduate
