Job Summary:
In 1990, Sal Lupoli, along with his brother Nick, opened the first Sal’s Pizza Store in Salem, NH. With a passion for hard work, the Lupoli brothers used fresh ingredients, prepared dough daily and established a reputation for the best quality and the largest pizza at the lowest price. Their 19-inch, three-pound pizza, quickly became a legend and is the cornerstone of every Sal’s Pizza today. Sal’s Mobile is taking that concept and bringing it to communities near you!
Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
· Complete oversight of Food Trucks.
· Ensure all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
· Ensure all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
· Achieve company objectives in sales, service, food costs, labor costs and quality, appearance of the truck, sanitation and cleanliness through training employees and by creating a positive, productive working environment.
· Assume duties of other team mates when one is out due to personal or other work-related obligations.
· Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
· Maintain open lines of communication with supervisor and coworkers to ensure the most efficient and effective operation of the trucks.
· Ensure all equipment is clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and ownership.
· Ensure all products are received in correct unit count and condition and that deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures.
· Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed appropriately and labor cost objectives are met.
· Know company employment policies; administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of policies, rules and procedures.
· Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the store employees and guests.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule that will shift as operation needs shift (includes working nights, weekends and holidays). As the manager, you are required to work 55 hours a week or as many hours as it takes to get the job done and done well.
· Manage all inventory, control items on your P&L and oversee budget.
· Other duties as assigned by Director of Truck Operations
Requirements
· Food preparation experience
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; produce quality products with speed, efficiency and accuracy.
· Experience and confident comfort level operating large vehicles.
