Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Commercial Patrol in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and tenants, and deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining open communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the commercial real estate location.
• Work collaboratively with property management and/or tenants to address security-related needs and concerns as they arise.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
