Finance Business Partner, Global Trading and Planning - Aarhus

Then you might be our new finance colleague in Global Trading and Planning (GTP). Our responsibility is to function as a sparring partner for the commercial part of the business and for global planning. Our area generates over 1.7 billion EUR in revenue. We support and challenge a business that uses about 30% of Arla's milk supply, while also providing finance expertise for resource allocation and our global milk supply.

 

How you will make an impact

As Finance Business Partner, you will refer to the Head of Trading and Planning Finance and become part of a highly skilled team located in Denmark and Germany. You will be handling both short-term and long-term tasks linked to Arla's strategy. Your main focus will be to consolidate numbers and clearly communicate your findings to senior stakeholders.

 

More specifically, you will:

• Coordinate monthly closing process including pro-active communication
• Ensure weekly/monthly reporting of current business situation to stakeholder
• Own monthly forecast process end-to-end, covering data collection, system uploads, forecast interpretation, preparation of review materials and lead reviews with GTP team
• Coordinate interaction with global Performance Management on reporting, interaction with local BI support on BI relevant activities, interaction with SG&A controller on forecast support and budget management
• Be the guardian of the GTP P&L with attention to all systems and interfaces linked to financials (incl. supply chain cost)
• Lead issue resolution on all errors/challenges related to GTP financials
• Take active role in corporation with business partners in special projects to drive financials in the GTP area
• Support in Internal Milk Price calculation and drive communication into the organisation

 

What will make you successful

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have an educational background within Finance, Economics or similar or are in the process of obtaining such. With 3-5 years of experience in finance from a consulting firm, FMCG company, retailer, or similar, you possess strong business acumen and demonstrate strong skills in ensuring financial quality and adhering to strict timelines in complex processes.

 

Besides this, you:

• Bring strong communication skills, capable of condensing complex financial implications into impactful messages
• Have a high proficiency in advanced accounting and system skills, including Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
• Possess a proactive mindset with a strong desire to create results and improve future outcomes
