Visit our website: Heineken (heineken-dt.pl)</b><br/> <br/> As the <b>Engineering Manager Sales Force Automation (SFA)</b>, your role is to oversee a team, developing in-house products, guiding technical strategy, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will need to understand the business needs, and work with business stakeholders. You will help Product Architect(s) to convert those needs into solution architecture specifications and services in line with overall engineering standards and roadmaps. You drive excellence in software engineering practices to deliver high-quality solutions throughout the software development lifecycle in our E-Business landscape, contributing to HEINEKEN International’s Evergreen strategy. You own the technology development and operations of given scope, including full budget responsibility, drive people development agenda, etc. As Senior Engineering Manager SFA you will take responsibility for an area where we have heavy Operating Company (OpCo) solutions live, and we need to 1) maintain these existing OpCo solutions and 2) build our technology future (re-architecture). The role reports directly to the Senior Technology Manager.<br/>  </p> <p><b>Your responsibilities would include:</b></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>leading the transition of our existing Sales Force Automation (SFA) technology to our future tech stack, including enabling the transition paths for our existing live OpCos</li> <li>owning the Software Development Engineering (SDE) organization that is delivering eazle - our new global digital platform</li> <li>leading a team of experienced SDE Leads, and their SDEs Teams in designing, developing, and delivering scalable, reliable, and high performing software solutions</li> <li>hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and developing top software engineering talents, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement – across different cultural backgrounds</li> <li>driving operational excellence, including code reviews, design reviews, testing, and deployment processes, to ensure high-quality software delivery</li> <li>elevating the Engineering build / ship mindset at HEINEKEN as frontrunner</li> <li>overseeing team spirit and being responsible for key hiring decisions</li> <li>implementing good practices, coding standards and modern architecture for DevSecOps, helping to develop new internal DevOps organization as well</li> <li>inspiring, advising, and driving the selection of development approach for specific product</li> <li>coordinating software development and address technical debt</li> <li>forming a view on GenAI application in our SDE practice</li> <li>managing team budgets, incl. outsourcing partners</li> <li>organizing and / or participating in hackathons.</li> </ul> <p><br/> <b>You are a good candidate if you have:</b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>have excellent written and verbal English</li> <li>get energized form daily new challenges across tech, business, stakeholders, etc.</li> <li>have 8+ years of the experience as technology manager, with hands-on mindset and strong personality.</li> <li>like to ship secure (!) software, a lot and with major impact and fast throughput</li> <li>believe in headless architecture setups and the composable MACH software movement</li> <li>work withing set Enterprise Architecture guidance and boundaries</li> <li>have demonstrated experience in leading multiple teams of SDE Leads, and SDEs (ICs)</li> <li>have in-depth knowledge of and experience (&gt; 8yrs) in modern frontend technology, and related Backend systems / services, like Microsoft Dynamics 365</li> <li>have worked in modular architecture, microservices, micro frontends, etc.</li> <li>are a performance tuning expert, to maximize entire stack and edges</li> <li>are proficient in heavy stakeholder engagement</li> <li>manage both outsourced / insourced teams</li> <li>are pragmatic, and collaborative team player.</li> </ul> <p><br/> <b>You will work daily - in strong distributed and async manner - with:</b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>your SDE Leads, SDEs, QA Engineers and Business Analysts to deliver eazle platform</li> <li>the Design Leads to leverage our Designers and Design System (Figma)</li> <li>Product Owners, our Lead Architect, other tribe SDE Leads on direction</li> <li>cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver on commitments</li> <li>stakeholders on existing live SFA tech
