This is a grant-funded position and is contingent on availability of funds.
Position Purpose
Performs data-entry into the Texas Educating Adults Management System (TEAMS). Generates and summarizes TEAMS data reports for Teacher and Administrator use.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Enters student and staff information into TEAMS timely and accurately.
- Retrieves and archives student information.
- Summarizes TEAMS data, and provides reports from TEAMS.
- Assists teachers and administrators with review and analysis of TEAMS related data for program improvement.
- Assists students and the public as necessary.
- Assists with office administrative tasks as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary.
- Knowledge of using MUNIS software in a school administration environment.
- Knowledge of records administration and maintenance techniques and procedures.
- Knowledge of Texas Workforce Commission grant requirements and deliverables.
- Skill in data entry with minimal errors.
- Skill at the intermediate level, working with Microsoft Office 365, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Skill in performing mathematical calculations with accuracy.
- Skill in editing documents for correct grammar.
- Skill in actively looking for ways to help people.
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Skill in interpersonal relationships, including using tact, patience, and courtesy.
- Ability to understand, enter, and retrieve student data into TEAMS in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work with site staff to collect student data in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to aid site staff in retrieving, organizing, and storing student data as required in SOP.
- Ability to provide needed reporting based on student data.
- Ability to use software to access databases, email, create spreadsheets, and do word processing.
- Ability to organize and coordinate work.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written forms.
- Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.
Travel Requirements
Travels to adult education locations and professional meetings as required.

- Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office and classroom equipment, including computer and peripherals.
