Job Summary:   We are seeking a highly skilled Dynatrace Senior Engineer with proven experience in Dynatrace implementation and automation. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of hands-on Dynatrace Implementation experience, strong programming expertise in Python, and a deep understanding of automation, deployment tools, and OS/database environments. This role also requires strong communication skills and the ability to coach and mentor junior team members.

Remote (Hybrid if within proximity): While this is a remote role, if you reside within 25 miles of a DXC local office, you will be required to work onsite at least 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the implementation and automation of Dynatrace across enterprise systems.
• Develop and manage Dynatrace automation using Monaco, Python, and JSON templates.
• Design and build standard and custom Dynatrace extensions to meet monitoring and observability requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline deployment processes using industry-standard tools.
• Leverage expertise in Python programming for building integrations, scripts, and automation frameworks.
• Perform hands-on configuration and troubleshooting on a variety of operating systems and databases.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering continuous learning and development.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Dynatrace implementation and automation experience.
• Experience with Monaco, Python, and JSON templates for Dynatrace automation.
• Proficiency in Dynatrace extension development (standard and custom).
• Strong hands-on experience with multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows, etc.) and database technologies.
• Solid understanding of deployment tools and processes (CI/CD, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.).
• Skilled in Python programming for automation and integration tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach junior team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Dynatrace certification(s) or training.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
