External lecturer (m/f/d) for the Master course “Organizational Development: Change & Restructuring”

About the role

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Department Team in Hamburg, Germany starting this summer semester 2025, who shares our vision of excellence in education and who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students and staff.

The teaching load for each course comprises 3 SWS (teaching units).

The opportunity:
To become a lecturer at a university of applied sciences sharing your knowledge and passion with students from all over the world.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

- Implementation of this Master course in International Business Management (teaching language: English), including topics such as:

  • Significance and challenges of organizational development
  • Elements of organizational development
  • Tasks, measures and activities of change management
  • Change management and dynamic environment
  • Theories, concepts of change management
  • Phases of the change management process
  • Procedures in the change management process
  • People as a success factor in the change management process
  • Motivational factors in change management
  • Corporate culture and change management
  • Organizational development and leadership in the change management process
  • Types of restructuring
  • Restructuring management
  • Goals and target groups of restructuring measures
  • Basics of corporate restructuring
  • Legal framework of a corporate restructuring
  • Restructuring in insolvency
  • Restructuring advice

Your profile

  • Relevant professional experience
  • Place of residence must be in or near Hamburg/Germany (lectures to take place on-site)
  • Completed relevant university studies (at least a Master’s degree)
  • Teaching experience at universities
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Organizational skills and willingness to work hard
  • Experience working in international environments welcome
  • Must be eligible for freelance work if you are a non-EU citizen
