Description
Aldrich is looking for a Senior Tax Manager interested in being a part of growing something. This position will provide complex tax review, planning and compliance services, and act as a trusted advisor to our clients. We are looking for people with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to grow both professionally and personally.
At Aldrich, we serve clients as part of a team, each representing a unique area of expertise. This role will serve as the tax expert and leader. This position is client facing, so the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, enjoy interacting and building client relationships and provide timely and high-quality deliverables that exceed client expectations.
Our teams are currently working remotely, but it will be critical for this position to eventually be local and available to work in our Lake Oswego, Oregon location once we return to the office. Long term, a hybrid of in office and from home work is available for this position.

Requirements
You'll Get a Chance To
- Coordinate and plan service delivery to clients, including conducting review meetings
- Work directly with clients on follow-up items from meeting or initiate follow through on new initiatives with clients
- Analyze client financial information, assess needs, and determine advanced strategies necessary to meet clients' objectives
- Manage client relationships
- Develops relationships with clients and demonstrates a capacity to earn client’s respect and trust, providing opportunities to sell existing clients new services and attract new business to the firm
- Perform technical tax reviews, approve tax returns, and governmental tax examinations of any complexity
- Develop and mentor staff through training and effective performance feedback - ensuring responsibilities are consistent with skills and development goals
- Manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections and project budgets
What You Bring to the Team
- 8+ years recent tax experience in public accounting
- Licensed CPA or JD
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
- Willingness to take "ownership" of the client
- Ability to build and retain client relationships

The compensation offered may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location and other job-related reasons. Aldrich makes internal equity a consideration in all pay decisions. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $135,000 - $185,000.
