As a Talent Acquisition team member, you will be a spokesperson for the company as you search for and hire top talent for our stores.
You will be in charge of developing the strategy with your hiring managers to source, screen, and select talent for the stores you are supporting. The ideal candidate must be self-driven and able to successfully prioritize vital open roles and pipelines.

QualificationsGENERAL DESCRIPTION:
A key member of the Talent team, helping manage Tire Discounters’ end-to-end recruitment process for stores, warehouse, and home office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Job Administration:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment process for all assigned open field positions.
- Provide ongoing staffing and talent support to all areas of business.
- Advise hiring managers through offer, background, and onboarding processes.
- Candidate Sourcing:
- Identify candidates for hard to fill roles using sourced candidates through resume databases and through external relationships with organizations and schools.
- Screen and match qualified candidates to available positions and make recommendations to improve the quantity and quality of talent pipeline.
- Provide Outstanding Candidate Experience:
- Manage, prescreen, and assist candidates from careers hotline.
- Explain job duties and the hiring process including background checks, benefits, compensation, and training.
- Build and Develop Partnerships:
- Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers, field and warehouse management, and executive leadership team through building trust.
- Create new and nurture existing relationships with school and community organizations.
- Ad Hoc Projects
- Lead projects as assigned to focus on process improvement, candidate experience, and developing Tire Discounters’ talent strategy.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week)
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 20%)
- Strong personal ownership of one’s work and the initiative to go beyond what is asked
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years’ work experience in recruiting, HR, or administrative/internship role
