The Community Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic marketing and communications efforts of the Community Marketing Team at the health plan. He/she is responsible for managing the marketing activities, member retention, market share and membership goals. The Community Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic marketing and communications efforts of the Community Marketing Team at the health plan. He/she is responsible for managing the marketing activities, member retention, market share and membership goals. Includes maximizing member, provider and community participation in a systematic, comprehensive program. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Related field, Marketing, Communications, Social Work, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field required, Masters degree preferred.

  • 5 or more years’ hands on experience working in a healthcare outreach, marketing and communications. environment with specific experience related to the Medicaid population.

  • At least 5 years of Supervisory/Manager and Team leading Experience.

  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking, reading, and writing) preferred.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimum direction.

  • Ability to manage priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner within outlined timeframes.

  • Must have strong communication, presentation, verbal, and written skills.

Certification/Licensure:

  • Must have a valid Drivers License issued by the state of Texas.

  • Must obtain CHW Community Health Worker certification within the first year of being in the role.
