How you’ll contribute 

An Rehabilitation Therapy Manager who excels in this role:

Leads rehabilitation services by overseeing patient assessment, treatment planning, scheduling, and productivity standards. Ensures high-quality, evidence-based therapy delivery; collaborates with physicians and families; and maintains departmental compliance with applicable inspections and policies. In addition to: 

• Perform appropriate assessments on residents referred for therapy; observe/evaluate treatments and recommend changes to the physician as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of rehabilitation modalities and develop teaching plans based on resident learning needs; involve families as appropriate and evaluate learning effectiveness.
• Assess pain that interferes with participation in rehabilitation and contact the physician for appropriate intervention.
• Oversee scheduling of treatments and maintain departmental productivity standards.
• Ensure compliance with departmental inspections and documentation requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current state licensure in Therapy (OT,PT,SLP) in addition to: 

• Education: Current state licensure/certification as OT, PT, or SLP
• Experience: At least one (1) year of management experience in rehabilitative medicine.
• License: Current license to practice therapy – active
• Certifications: CPR certification required, BCLS certification
