Now, let’s make sure you’re a good fit for the role:</p> <p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior C# Developer</strong> to join our growing team in <strong>Barcelona</strong>. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable applications while collaborating with global teams across Romania and the United States. You’ll play a key role in leading development efforts, maintaining legacy systems, and leveraging <strong>AWS Cloud</strong> infrastructure to deliver innovative solutions aligned with business goals.</p> <p>This position follows a <strong>hybrid work model</strong> based in <strong>Barcelona</strong>, with <strong>three (3) days per week in the office</strong> and <strong>two (2) days working from home.</strong></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, write, build, and deploy high-quality code.</li> <li>Analyze business application requirements, identify potential issues, and propose effective solutions.</li> <li>Collaborate with an <strong>Agile team</strong>, taking a leadership role in guiding development efforts and ensuring alignment with company standards.</li> <li>Leverage <strong>AWS Cloud infrastructure</strong> to design scalable and efficient solutions.</li> <li>Maintain and improve existing legacy applications.</li> <li>Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs across various OPIS codebases.</li> <li>Adhere to <strong>best practices in software development</strong>, including continuous integration and deployment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Must-have Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>6+ years</strong> of hands-on experience in software development.</li> <li>Strong understanding of <strong>Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)</strong> principles.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in <strong>C#</strong> and the <strong>Microsoft .NET Framework</strong>.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>HTML, CSS, and JavaScript</strong>.</li> <li>Strong understanding of <strong>relational databases</strong>, preferably <strong>SQL Server</strong> or <strong>PostgreSQL</strong>.</li> <li>Experience working within a <strong>modern software development lifecycle (SDLC)</strong>.</li> <li>Exposure to <strong>Cloud and Application Architecture</strong>, ideally <strong>AWS</strong>.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li> <li><strong>English level:</strong> B2 Advanced or C1.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice-to-have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with <strong>microservices</strong> and <strong>containerized applications</strong>.</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong>, <strong>Git</strong>, and <strong>Agile/Scrum</strong> methodologies.</li> <li>Knowledge of <strong>Terraform</strong> or <strong>Infrastructure as Code (IaC)</strong> practices.</li> <li><strong>AI Tooling Proficiency:</strong> Ability to leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation.
