AWS Engineer - Work From Home

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available.

• Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements.

• Provide support and implement solutions for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

• Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.

• Develop and maintain scripts to automate cloud operations.

• Conduct cloud cost optimization analyses and implement cost-saving strategies.

• Ensure data privacy and compliance standards are met.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

• Stay current with new technology trends and best practices in cloud computing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of STEM Degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English 

• Proven experience in AWS cloud services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.)

• Experience in writing IaC (e.g. Serverless, CDK, Cloudformation, Terraform)

• Experience with web REST APIs

• Experience in using Ansible

• Experience with relational databases

• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix Administration

• Programming experience (Python, Bash Script, Golang, etc)

• Docker and Kubernetes experience

• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service

NOTE

• Must have a stable internet connection minimum of 20 MBPS

• Must be comfortable working the US business hours

• Must own a personal computer with at least 8 GB memory
