About the Role
The Lead Advanced Practice Provider is a full-time (40-hour) hybrid role that combines direct patient care with clinical leadership. This position supports and develops a team of physician assistants while collaborating closely with the Medical Director and operations team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Administrative time is allocated based on team size and clinic needs, with clinical expectations adjusted accordingly.

In this role, you will:
- Develop and support high-performing Physician Assistants to drive strong patient and organizational outcome
- Provide leadership for Physician Assistants at their specific clinic location
- Collaborate with the Medical Director, Psychiatrists, and Operations to ensure high-quality, evolving mental health care
- Performance coaching to the Physician Assistant team
- Support recruitment and training efforts
- Ensure proper provider onboarding and training in alignment with organizational policies and clinic needs
- Maintain knowledge of facility policies and procedures and work with Operations and HR teams when necessary
- Facilitate clear communication and transparency across departments
- Communicate effectively and consistently with the Medical Director/Supervising Physician
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Illinois PA license
- Master's degree from an accredited physician assistant program
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- DEA license (required prior to seeing patients)
- The ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Conditions of Employment:

- Subject to credentialing process; must maintain credentialed status, as applicable
