Medical Biller and Coder

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Process medical claims for podiatry services
  

• Assign appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes
  

• Handle medical credentialing for providers
  

• Ensure compliance with Virginia state regulations
  

• Communicate with insurance companies and patients
  

Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology, especially in podiatry
  

• Proficiency in ICD-10 and CPT coding
  

• Experience with medical billing software
  

• Familiarity with Virginia state healthcare regulations
  

• Strong communication skills

Scope

• Part-time role: 20 hours per week
  

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Eastern
  

• Focus on podiatry billing, coding, and credentialing
  

• Adherence to U.S. and Virginia-specific healthcare regulations
