Landis+Gyr Technology, Inc. is a global leader in smart metering and energy management solutions, dedicated to advancing sustainable and efficient solutions for utilities and consumers. Headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, we are seeking a skilled Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic talent acquisition team working on-site in Alpharetta. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and recruiting top-notch technical professionals with expertise in hardware, firmware, software development, quality, and testing, especially within the domains of gas, water, and electricity.
Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering:
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to comprehend technical skill requirements and team dynamics.
2. Sourcing:
• Utilize various channels, including LinkedIn, industry events, job boards, and networking, to identify and engage highly skilled technical candidates.
3. Screening and Interviewing:
• Conduct comprehensive technical screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, expertise, and cultural fit.
• Provide detailed assessments to hiring managers.
4. Negotiation and Closing:
• Lead the negotiation process, collaborating with candidates and hiring managers to secure competitive and mutually beneficial agreements.
• Drive the closing process to ensure successful placements.
• Collaborate with human resource business partners (HRBPs) for compensation.
5. Utilize Social Media Platforms:
• Leverage multiple social media platforms, with a focus on LinkedIn, to proactively build and maintain a network of technical talent.
6. Documentation:
• Document all recruitment activities and candidate interactions in the SuccessFactors system to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Generate regular reports and updates on recruitment metrics and progress.
7. Specialized Focus:
• Concentrate on recruiting individuals with experience in IoT, communications technologies, WiSun, narrowband Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Google Cloud Computing.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter, specializing in recruiting technical talent.
• Expertise in full life cycle recruiting, from sourcing to closing.
• Familiarity with IoT, communications technologies, WiSun, narrowband Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Google Cloud Computing.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex technical discussions.
• Proficiency in using social media platforms for talent identification and engagement, particularly LinkedIn.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems; familiarity with SuccessFactors is highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
