Director of Talent Management
AHEAD, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified and creative Director of Talent Management. In this role, you will support managers and leaders by defining, designing, managing, and facilitating training and leadership programs. You will work strategically to anticipate training and development needs and respond by designing training solutions to meet the needs of the business, retain and develop talent, and improve our ability to build robust succession plans and internal talent pipelines. You will collaborate with leadership to create specific training objectives and provide complete training programs to meet the needs of the company.This role requires a strong partnership with functional leads and key stakeholders across the organization. This position will report to the Chief People Officer. The ideal candidate has an accomplished training and development background with experience working with all levels of leadership, and a proven track record of designing, delivering, managing and tracking training and development programs across all levels of the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities·       Consult with business leaders and key stakeholders to understand training and development needs.·       Design, build, coordinate, and deliver focused training and development content, instructor and participant materials, including performance support materials.·       Implement, measure and track the effectiveness and impact of training and learning solutions.·       Be an influencer and educator of the value of development.·       Drive awareness of available training and resources through creative campaigns and other internal processes.·       Own the annual talent review process. Including creation of templates, development of timeline, rollout and support to the business throughout the process. Keep the documents “alive” during the year by providing information on high potentials and succession planning when needed.·       Develop & implement a strategy around high potential development with involvement from company leadership.·       Partner with HR team & key stakeholders to develop and deploy a performance management system and processes.·       Contribute to the overall success of the HR team by identifying ways to continuously improve the learning process and enhance learning effectiveness.·       Manage multiple training projects concurrently.·       Assess training outcomes by soliciting and reviewing feedback and evaluation of classes taught.·       Identify ways to continuously improve learning programs and tie programs to the company's strategic goals.·       Evaluate, implement and maintain Learning Management System (LMS).·       Develop learning plans and as needed change management and communication plans.·       Work on additional projects across HR as assigned.  Experience ·   BA/BS; preferred.·    5+ years of experience working in Employee and Leadership Development, including building succession plans.·    Proficiency in essential computer programs including LMS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Acrobat, and SharePoint.·   Experience in creating strong relationships that foster the spirit of innovation, improvement, and collaborative solutions and developments.·   High degree of influence and collaboration with the business·   Experience in group facilitation required.·   Experience with Change Management.

Knowledge of·       eLearning techniques, learning software and technology.·       Instructional Strategies and Learning Assessments.·       Workplace training and education; organizational development practices; and ability to use knowledge and skills to plan effective organizational interventions.·       Experience using a variety of organizational and individual aptitude, skill and competency assessment techniques.Why AHEAD:
