About the Job

Partnerships are a key pillar of Colossyan's success, and our API is central to how we integrate with other platforms. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to take full ownership of our API and strategic integrations, ensuring they are seamless, scalable, and business-critical. This is a high-impact role offering significant exposure to senior leadership, customers, and external partners. You will be at the heart of Colossyan's expansion, working closely with sales teams and key stakeholders to drive adoption and innovation in our integrations.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Full ownership of Colossyan’s API, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Leading the development and management of integrations with strategic partners.
• Working closely with sales and customer teams, joining API-related sales calls to explain capabilities and limitations.
• Managing custom development needs for partners, ensuring seamless integration and ongoing support.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and external partners, to drive API adoption and success.
• Providing technical guidance and best practices to ensure high-quality API development and integrations.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with full ownership of an API.
• Proven track record of building and managing successful integrations with third-party platforms.
• Experience working with publicly running integrations, such as Zapier or Make.com.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts in plain English to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in Hungarian is a plus, but English proficiency is essential due to customer interactions.
• Experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proficiency in any API framework
