The purpose of this job is to work in a cross functional team performing Quality Control testing and all associated laboratory activities related to Biochemistry and Cell Biology water test methods. The successful candidate will sit in the Biochemistry team but main duties will be Chemistry water testing with an opportunity to train in Bioassay and PCR testing.

Job Description

-         Perform a variety of routine Biochemistry and Cell Biology analytical testing techniques and associated documentation, including WFI testing and compendial methods in compliance with GMP requirements.

-         Water testing, conductivity, PH, appearance, with opportunities to train in Biochemistry and cell biology techniques.

-         Review and approve Analytical Testing data.

-         Support activities including general lab readiness, audit readiness, laboratory equipment qualification and analytical method technical transfer, verification and validation.

-         Be part of a motivated and high performing team.

Qualifications

-         Ability to work independently and meeting established timelines.

-         At least 3 years’ experience preferably in Chemistry or Biochemistry

-         Chemistry water testing experience.

-         Lean Six Sigma experience preferable.

-         Knowledge of cGMPs

-         Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

-         Customer focus; takes personal responsibility for speed; quality and accuracy of delivery

-         Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure

-         Successful track record in achieving goals as part of a team within a growing, dynamic environment

-         Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility to support a growing organisation. 

-         Good understanding of requirements for working in a GMP environment.

-         Ability to quickly learn new processes.

-         Ability to communicate clearly and to form strong working relationships with colleagues.
