This role provides primary service response for laboratory operations at our Union City site, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and automation. The role will also contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving reliability, throughput, and quality. The ideal candidate excels at customer service, resolves issues with laboratory automation, and maintains thorough, compliant documentation. This is an on-site role supporting critical clinical operations; occasional off-hours support may be required.</p> <p><strong>Shift Hours:</strong> Tuesday-Saturday, 3pm-11:30pm (+PM Shift Differential)</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide first-line service response for automated processes and instrumentation across the Union City facility.</li> <li>Execute and/or coordinate routine preventive maintenance for laboratory instruments and automation systems.</li> <li>Perform equipment qualifications, including Installation (IQ), Operational (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ).</li> <li>Troubleshoot and triage equipment issues; coordinate vendor support and escalations as needed.</li> <li>Draft and revise documentation related to equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.</li> <li>Maintain organized spare parts inventory and comprehensive, GDP-compliant service records.</li> <li>Identify, propose, and help implement process improvements; support testing and validation plans.<
