This position is responsible for leading, managing, and consistently improving the department providing in-home installation, and service for both new and existing customers. These services are critical to the AAA Smart Home customer experience and satisfaction of both new and existing customers.
Responsible for developing, implementing, and engaging in continual process improvement of the operational processes, and contribution to field operations strategy. The Manager, A3S Field Operations - Residential plays a key role in optimizing the performance of the business via the use of statistics and analysis. This position will guide the operation function at AAA Smart Home / A3 Smart Home by partnering with peers in other departments to make fact based decisions that improve business results. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively to direct reports and upper management both verbally and written. This position requires active participation and ""thought leadership"" in all team meetings, events, and decision making, where appropriate.
Essential Duties
• Operational Management: Oversight and management of the Smart Home Pros in their performance of new installs and service calls. Defines, plans and monitors staffing requirements, work schedules and service objective in accordance with business goals while providing memorable customer experiences.
• Fiscal Responsibility: Identify innovative solutions to increase efficiency though effective management of people, budget, and other resources.
• Quality Assurance: Ensures the volume of work produced meets or exceeds service standards and quality expectations as they relate to service delivery.
• Compliance: Ensures compliance with established guidelines, requirements, processes, and regulations. Consistently evaluate and update guidelines, requirements, and processes to improve performance.
• Other: Managing projects that have a critical impact on the department, division, enterprise. Requires interaction with senior management.

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3 – 5 years of management experience preferably of both exempt and non-exempt direct reports of 25 or more
• 2 – 3 years Workforce Management experience (Preferred)
• Must meet state requirements to obtain and retain an Alarm Card and related licenses and/or certifications
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory 39 month motor vehicle record
Working Environment
This position includes both office and field time with 50%+ time being spent in the field. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending, lifting, driving and climbing. Lifting will include up to 25 pounds. Extensive use of a personal computer and keyboard is required.
