About the Role: 

Silicon Labs is seeking an experienced and highly motivated HR Generalist to join our dynamic global HR team on a fixed-term basis.  

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our North American employee population and partnering closely with our global Functional HRBP and Employee Experience teams. You will be part of a truly global HR Generalist team with peers in Singapore, Budapest, and India. Given our client group expertise, experience in the semiconductor or technology industries is highly desirable. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide comprehensive HR generalist support and guidance to employees and managers in North America. 

  • Partner with Functional HRBPs on various HR initiatives and projects, including performance management, compensation planning, talent development, and organizational design. 

  • Support talent programs administration with the Employee Experience team 

  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including performance concerns, behavioral issues, and conflict resolution, ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws. 

  • Execute on organizational changes in partnership with the Functional HRBPs as needed by working closely with global HR Operations and HRIS team members. 

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. 

  • Provide guidance, support and training to managers on performance management, improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Maintain related records as needed. 

  • Analyse data for pay disparity, adherence to organizational design principles and drive consistency in process and philosophy across all business groups. 

  • Stay abreast of and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations in North America, including Canada. 

  • Collaborate with the Legal team and relevant HRBP on any complex employee relations matters if needed. 

  • Assist with immigration processes and visa applications as required from time to time (experience in this area is a plus though not essential).
