Job Highlights
- Customer order management (customer contact, timely order entry and processing, order confirmation, price maintenance, availability check of material).
- Perform customer master data requests and maintenance within the LANXESS systems.
- Process customer inquiries regarding order status, shipment timing, etc.
- Assist Marketing & Sales with receivables and credit limit requests.
- Support sales (as requested) with maintenance of forecast.
- Identification of customer requirements and proactively suggest solutions.
- Responsible to receive customer complaints and facilitate resolution.
- Constant review of inventory and replenishment planning with Production Planner.
- Track order status (internal / external), delivery time and invoicing.
- Work in conjunction with 3rd party logistics providers to troubleshoot any shipping problems as they occur.
- Work in conjunction with 3rd party warehouse providers on any order fulfillment questions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or 3 years of professional experience in a customer service-related field.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to work and function in a team environment.
- Experience in Microsoft Office tools and SAP a plus.
