Senior Director - Public Affairs, Technology.

With almost 80 team members, our growing Brussels’ office is focused on the delivery of integrated European Affairs and Communications support to its clients across a broad range of sectors.

As part of its strategic growth plans, we are seeking an experienced player in the technology space in Brussels to develop existing client accounts, and to drive the growth and development of new business, whilst leading a motivated team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing a portfolio of clients in the Technology sector.
  
• Directing client programmes that integrate a full range of public affairs and communications strategies both in Brussels and across the group on pan-European projects.
  
• Creating and developing innovative client service offerings.
  
• Directing new business proposals and pitches, and leading support teams.
  
• Actively engaging with colleagues across the group to develop and implement marketing strategies within the sector
  
• Leading the professional development and coaching of consultants.
  

What we are looking for:

• 15 years’ experience of public affairs developed within an EU context.
  
• Evidence of leading effective and innovative communications campaigns to support public affairs activities.
  
• Experience gained within a EU Public Affairs consultancy is essential, together with experience from a corporate, trade association or EU Institution.
• A strong presence in the Technology sector in Brussels.
  
• A significant network of EU and national policy makers and stakeholders in the sector.
  
• Sound commercial acumen and ability to identify a business opportunity
  
• A collaborative and caring approach to working with colleagues in Brussels and across the Group.
  
• An inquisitive nature with a desire for learning and innovative practices.
  
• A high level of motivation and drive for excellence.
