Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Administrative Coordinator for our Care Navigation Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As an Administrative Coordinator you will:
• Serve as ambassador for Care Navigation Department by receiving visitors, assisting with patient and family concerns, and involving department leaders when needed
• Support Care Navigation leaders through calendar management including coordinating and prioritizing appointments and workflow to meet specified deadlines
• Support Care Navigation leaders in preparation for meetings. Prepares accurate meeting minutes and agendas; distributes to stakeholders in timely manner.
• Respond to in person and phone requests from patient and employee customers. Receives and directs incoming mail and calls promptly, professionally and courteously, ensuring accuracy and timeliness is maintained
• Maintain well-organized file system and office area including accurate files for all correspondence, and projects.
• Constantly seeks opportunities to increase efficiency of workflow
• Manages the functions and equipment of Care Navigation Office, i.e. orders supplies, operates and maintains office equipment etc.
• Build partnerships across AHC entities that contribute to the support provided by office.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications include:
• Associates Degree in business or related field from an accredited college.
• 2-5 years of office management experience.
• Proficient in PC skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, Excel, Internet, and Group Wise, ability to work independently and handle a multi-task environment and strong customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with a variety of people including community, executives, and other employees. Ability to use office related machines (fax, copier, computer, printer). Professional appearance and manner.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Work Schedule:
Day Shift opportunity Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay Range:
$24.41 - $34.18If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
