Position Summary

The Manager of IT Project Management will oversee the organization’s IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and efficient resource utilization. This role is pivotal in leading a team of project managers, refining project management methodologies, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT project managers, promoting professional growth and high performance.

• Oversee the IT project portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve project management methodologies and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables.

• Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project lifecycles.

• Monitor project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.

• Provide regular project status updates to executive leadership, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in Information Technology.

• Proven experience managing complex IT projects, including software implementations and infrastructure upgrades.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.

• Experience in healthcare IT environments.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and healthcare compliance standards.

• Knowledge of IT infrastructure management and operations.
