Mission and Goals   

As a Software Engineer on our Engineering team, you’ll play a key role in supporting our O&O team by enhancing and optimizing our suite of websites. You’ll contribute to front-end development efforts, implement innovative solutions, and ensure our platforms deliver exceptional user experiences. This role reports directly to the Lead Software Engineer and works closely with fellow developers to bring high-impact projects to life. 

Objectives   

• Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure project goals are met. 

• Independently manage and follow through on development tickets, from investigation to deployment. 

• Customize and develop WordPress themes and plugins to support various website features and functionality. 

• Contribute to the full website development lifecycle—from initial concept to final deployment. 

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates, ask clarifying questions, and ensure alignment. 

• Apply intellectual curiosity to identify innovative solutions and stay updated with modern frontend development trends and tools. 

Competencies   

• 3–5 years of experience as a software engineer, preferably in the digital media or personal finance industry 

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React with a strong grasp of moder
