Job Purpose and Impact

The Customer Service Specialist, will provide technical, nutritional and quality control support to the team and customers. In this role, you will use customer insights extracted from projects and products to resolve current challenges, deliver new solutions that provide a competitive advantage and provide ongoing project management, technical support, and analysis to customers and strategic account teams. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide support to our account and cross functional teams by compiling and analyzing data for assigned customers, projects and business segment.
  • Assist in developing reports for customers using various data sources and providing analytical data to customers as needed.
  • Evaluate, analyze, guarantee and summarize data and quality control of data in the laboratory, in accordance with customer needs.
  • Participate in discussions with customers, account managers, and project team members related to customer data needs and in internal and external project management laboratory activities.
  • Work within account teams to achieve business and customer goals by assisting in managing background database tables in Lims, supporting Lims updates and trainings, system operation and customer billing system management.
  • Management of activities with external laboratories such as cost, quality control, and invoice management
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, Power BI, and/or other programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years Quality Control experience with a Lims system
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Basic nutrition or animal nutrition knowledge
