As the Supervisor of Client Access, you will ensure the professional and technical operation of the Client Access team. You’ll oversee daily operations, lead a team of client access representatives, and support process improvement initiatives that align with physician satisfaction, coworker satisfaction, client satisfaction, quality, and business performance. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct oversight and support of Client Access operations
Review timecards and time-off requests for accuracy
Meet with team leads and staff to coach, resolve issues, and identify workflow improvements
Facilitate training and ongoing education to support team development
Conduct yearly evaluations for direct reports, offering performance feedback and goal-setting
Collaborate with leadership on process improvements and implementation of new initiatives
Prepare and distribute daily communications regarding process changes, updates, and training
Represent Client Access in meetings, offering feedback and contributing to strategy
Oversee audit and reporting functions related to client experience, check-in, intake, and check-out
Conduct on-site observations and support lead engagement
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to support department initiatives
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Communicate the strategic direction of the organization and encourage participation by all team members
Provide leadership and guidance across all aspects of the department
Actively monitor, identify, and support the development and execution of strategic objectives
Involve appropriate team members in goal-setting and problem-solving to promote collaboration and buy-in
Effectively communicate departmental and organizational updates to staff
Address and resolve team member concerns using sound judgment and HR support when needed
Champion change initiatives and manage successful implementation of new processes and ideas
Reinforce a team-oriented approach by seeking input and encouraging collaboration across all levels of the organization
Provide documented coaching, feedback, and development plans as needed to support staff growth and performance
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years of previous management or supervisory experience preferred
Previous customer service experience preferred
Additional Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proficiency with computers and accurate typing skills
