BWXT AT seeks a Supervisor of Administrative Resources to drive cost-effective and integrated approaches serving its rapidly growing business. This role is accountable for the team's effectiveness and internal customer satisfaction. The Administrative Resource Supervisor will report to AT's COO and be responsible for serving AT's organizations using a combination of specialized functional assignments. Its services will include, but not be limited to:
- Travel planning, managing, trouble-shooting, and expense reimbursement.
- Event planning and visitor-facilitation to offer customers, guests and VIP stakeholders a coherent experience that promotes BWXT’s brand.
- Employee communications and experiences that foster AT’s culture, including managing to an event budget and facilitating the All-Hands and timely e-publication of the AT newsletter.
- Special projects arising from AT organizations, such as supporting review boards, planning, and stakeholder coordination.
- Business document management and writing to include draft email, letters, reports, and other documents and a shared file-naming convention and file organization.
- Conference room management and meeting logistics.
- Scheduling.
- Floor-space assignments across AT’s multiple sites.
- Kitchen and office supplies inventory management and purchasing.
- Facility maintenance coordination.
- Other administrative support, as assigned.
Job Description / Duties:
- Supervise the Administrative Resource group personnel, including hiring, coaching, and measuring performance, as a front-line supervisor.
- Design and document work processes that improve AT’s efficiency and effectiveness.
- Articulate options and recommend solutions that address emerging and complex problems arising from the company’s growth so that business operations are nimble, efficient, and not burdensome on the workforce and management.
- Develop plans, implement strategies and solutions, and measure resulting outcomes in order to adjust activities and plans in a cycle of continuous improvement.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, exercising independent judgment and seeking state-of-art practices and tools in the group’s functional domains.
- Exercise a high degree of creativity and collaboration due to the pace and lack of precedence for the company’s trajectory.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, an understanding of business context, interpersonal communication skills, and cultural competence.
- Interface with corporate stakeholders to facilitate communications and problem-resolution.
Job Qualifications / Requirements:
- A minimum of a High School diploma/GED is required.
- Must have ten (10) years’
