Job Type: Full Time, Hourly
Shift(s) Available: 3rd shift 12:00am-8:00am. Overtime available, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice as needed.

The Maintenance Technicians will be responsible to safely install and maintain production equipment that will ensure our customers the highest quality products achievable, helping drive continuous improvement efforts at a world-class level. This role maintains packaging machinery, conveyor systems, preventative maintenance schedule and building maintenance. Maintenance Technicians work under general supervision, typically shift supervisor or maintenance manager are expected to perform a variety of jobs, tasks or duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain, monitor and adjust equipment
- Ensures operation of machinery is properly functioning by completing preventive/predictive maintenance requirements
- Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
- Communicate with team/shift employees concerning proper operation of equipment, changes in production equipment speed and any other machine issues
- Understand and adhere to ADM's Safety, Environmental Compliance and Food Quality and goal of achieving a zero-injury culture
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance and maintain attendance record in accordance with company policy
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by adhering to all safety, GMP rules and training.
- Preventative/Predictive maintenance duties as needed, ensure that all equipment is in top mechanical/electrical condition and alerts management if any issues are found
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and or using precision testing devices
- Read technical manuals/blueprints to understand equipment and controls
- Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish tasks
- Provides mechanical information by answering questions and requests
- Contribute to team efforts in other areas of the plant
- Attention to detail when performing any type of work
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written) and able to work under time constraints
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Strong mechanical skills, working knowledge of manual and automatic tools, level and alignment skills, trouble shooting and the ability to plan procedures for completing a task
- Good communication skills
- Must be adaptable, self-starter and dependable
- Complete ADM safety, food safety, quality, and environmental training
- Participate in company planned operations training
- Equipment training may include but not limited to JLG, forklift, Non-DOT truck, reach lift, etc.
- Ambient conditions – Work area is, typically, a non-air-conditioned production environment. Hot or cold Temperatures, all seasonal elements, both indoors and outdoors
- Atmosphere: Non-dusty, dry and clean
- Must be able to work around noise levels that may reach or exceed 85 decibels and require use of hearing protection for most of the work shift
